In 2007, Verizon released its first touch screen phone to compete with the release of the Apple iPhone. The Verizon Voyager supported Verizon’s V CAST media service and I was the lead UI and UX designer on this project.
With limited touch screen support at its launch, we minimized the interaction to single taps and basic gestures for a higher rate of satisfaction and success. And since the device featured a clam shell design with a keyboard and secondary screen, we kept the interface in landscape format for consistency.
Designed using MS Vizio and Adobe Photoshop.
